Chief Executive Officer
With a wealth of senior managerial experience both locally and internationally as well as cross sector exposure, Admore Kandlela was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2003 at a critical time in the Bank’s history, following the promulgation of the People’s Own Savings Bank Act in 2001. A transformational leader by nature, he is the driving force behind the Bank providing strategic direction and decisive, action oriented leadership at every turn.
Admore is a bold and dynamic leader with an inborn ability to lead by example, while engage and motivate his team in order to consistently achieve the Bank’s goals and objectives.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, he also held various positons in other established organizations including Risk Manager (Agribank), Chief Economist (Agricultural Finance Corporation), Senior Economist (Agricultural Finance Corporation), Senior Economist (Post & Telecommunications Corporation), Project Analyst (SEDCO) among others. His academic qualifications comprise Masters in Business Administration in Responsible Banking (IEB, WSBI, LSE), Masters in Business Administration (NUST), BSc Economics Hons, (FBC – Sierra Leone) and NID Computer Studies (Harare Polytechnic College). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers (FIOBZ).
General Manager - Finance and Adminstration
Garainashe is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over twenty years of experience in Banking, Financial management and advisory services. He holds Bachelor of Accounting Science (Hons) and Master in Business Administration degrees from the University of South Africa and National University of Science and Technology respectively. Garainashe is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB).
Lawrence Munashe Kupika
General Manager – Banking Operations
Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Marketing) degree (UZ), Master of Science Marketing (NUST), Executive MBA (NUST) and Certificate in Banking (IOBZ). He joined the Bank in 2017 as Marketing Manager, a position he held until his appointment to the post of General Manager – Banking Operations in 2019.
An expert in Marketing, Customer Experience and Marketing Communication and Fellow of the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe, Lawrence has held related roles at senior level in Telecel Zimbabwe, Powertel Communications (Pvt) Ltd, the Department of Trade and Industry (SA), POSB, Art Corporation (Pvt) Ltd and Probe Market Research (Pvt) Ltd.
General Manager - Risk, Security &Investigations
Wilbert holds Business Studies (Hons) and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Zimbabwe as well as a Master of Science degree in Leadership & Change Management from Leeds Metropolitan University (UK). He also has diplomas in Banking and Credit Management and is a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERM).
He joined POSB in 2004 as General Manager from SEDCO where he was Enterprise-wide Risk Manager. He has done business-related consultancy work on behalf of HIVOS as well as Gender and Rural Development Consultants and is a former examiner for the Southern Africa Institute of Marketing.
General Manager - Corporate & Investment Banking
With a career spanning over 20 years, Farai Chirikure has a wealth of experience in Trade Finance, Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Treasury Management and Exchange Control. He worked for various financial Institutions including ZB Bank, Syfrets Corporate & Merchant Bank, Kingdom Financial Holdings and Genesis Investment Bank before joining POSB in 2010 His impeccable credentials include a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Gloucestershire (UK), an Economics Degree from University of Pretoria (SA), an Advanced Diploma in Treasury Management and Trade Finance from the Institute of Bankers in South Africa CAIB (SA), Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe Diploma (AIBZ) and an Advanced Certificate in Structured Commodity Finance from Afreximbank among several other trainings. Farai’s personal interests extend to voluntary work for humanitarian causes. He is the co-founder of ZimHeart Trust and a dedicated rotarian ( 2020/2021 Club President). Farai is also an avid soccer fan who enjoys a good read in his spare time.
Human Resources Executive
Malvern is a seasoned Human Resources practitioner whose qualifications include a Bachelor of Science Politics and Administration (UZ) degree and a Master’s in Leadership & Change Management degree from Leeds Metropolitan University in addition to an IPMZ diploma.
From the time he joined Lonrho as Graduate Trainee in 1987 to his current position of POSB Human Resources Executive, Malvern’s experience in the Human Resources field spans a 30 year period during which he has held various positions in notable organizations including; Personnel Officer (Turnpan Zimbabwe), Human Resources Manager (ZIMOCO Passenger Divisions), Personnel & Training (ZIMOCO Passenger and Commercial) as well as Group Human Resources Manager at Colcom Foods, Unibank and Zimbabwe Development Bank. He joined POSB in October 2004 as Human Resources Manager, and rose through the ranks to reach his current position in 2009.
Malvern has keen interests in the music industry and is the current Chairperson of the Zimbabwe College of Music Board of Trustees as well as a Trustee on the PTC Self Insurance Plan.
POSB IT Executive, Loice Ngulube’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Studies and Computing Science degree (UZ) and a higher National Diploma in Systems Analysis (Harare Polytechnic). She is currently studying towards a Masters in Strategic Leadership degree with Edinburg School of Business. Her extensive certifications include Information Systems Auditor (CISA), graduating as the best student in East Africa 2008, Information Systems Manager (CISM), Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Manager (PRINCE2) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Practitioner. She is also a State Registered Nurse who practices pro bono through Rotary International.
Loice is an avid participator and contributor of international ICT Forums, particularly the World Information Technology Forum (WITFOR) and Chief Information Officers (CIO) Forum, whose objectives are to harness, apply and propagate outputs from WITFOR to regulatory and policy makers. In 2018 – 2019, she was the Vice President of the Computer Society of Zimbabwe, a member of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP).
Patience is a Certified Compliance Professional having undergone training with the International Academy of Business and Financial Management (IABFM). She holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance degree (UZ) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking (Hons degree (NUST).
She has over 14 years’ banking experience specializing in compliance, corporate governance and financial crime compliance with 7 years of that experience being attained at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, Bank Supervision Department.
Patience is one of the founding trustees of the Compliance Society of Zimbabwe (COSOZ) which was established in 2017. COSOZ is an umbrella body for compliance professionals across all economic sectors in Zimbabwe. She also has keen interests in horticultural farming.
Company Secretary and Legal Adviser
Dorothy is a corporate lawyer by profession and member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe. She holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) degree (UZ) and ACCA Diploma in Financial Management.
She joined POSB as Company Secretary and Legal Adviser in 2012 and heads the Bank’s Corporate and Legal Services Department. Her vast work experience extends to both the public and private sectors where she has held in-house corporate counsel roles with company secretarial responsibilities since 2014. Prior to this, Dorothy briefly worked in a private practice law firm following a lengthy stint in the civil service where she worked in the capacity of public prosecutor/state counsel as well as legal advisor under the Attorney General’s Office.
Tamuka Maseya is a supply chain specialist with over twenty years’ experience in supply chain management. Tamuka has procurement and supply chain management experience across economic sectors namely private, public and humanitarian organisation where he held various portfolios. He has held senior and strategic responsibilities at the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority, Curechem Overseas Pvt Ltd, Save the Children International, Fidelity Printers & Refiners Pvt Ltd, TelOne Zimbabwe and ZIMASCO’s supply chain divisions.
Tamuka is a bearer of Master of Business Administration (UZ), Bachelor of Business Studies Honours Degree (UZ) and the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply Graduate Diploma where he is a full member (MCIPS UK).
Head Internal Audit
Izasi has over 10 years’ experience in Auditing and holds a MBA in Banking & Finance as well as a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting degree. His other academic qualifications include; Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA), Certified Risk Based Auditor (CRBA) and Registered Public Auditor (RPA, Zim). Izasi is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), ACCA International and Public Auditors & Accountants Board of Zimbabwe.
