Israel Ndlovu

Acting Board Chairperson

Israel is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA), a Registered Public Accountant (RPA) and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. He joined the POSB Board in October 2001.

He has worked in the NGO sector as a Country Director of a Governance Program in addition to holding various positions at the National Railways of Zimbabwe, the Bulawayo City Council and TA Holdings group of companies.

Based in Bulawayo, Israel currently runs a management consultancy and other businesses. He also sits on the First Mutual Life Assurance (Pvt) Ltd and Opengates (Pvt) Ltd Boards.

Chief Executive Officer

With a wealth of senior managerial experience both locally and internationally as well as cross sector exposure, Admore Kandlela was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2003 at a critical time in the Bank’s history, following the promulgation of the People’s Own Savings Bank Act in 2001. A transformational leader by nature, he is the driving force behind the Bank providing strategic direction and decisive, action oriented leadership at every turn.

Admore is a bold and dynamic leader with an inborn ability to lead by example, while engage and motivate his team in order to consistently achieve the Bank’s goals and objectives.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, he also held various positons in other established organizations including Risk Manager (Agribank), Chief Economist (Agricultural Finance Corporation), Senior Economist (Agricultural Finance Corporation), Senior Economist (Post & Telecommunications Corporation), Project Analyst (SEDCO) among others. His academic qualifications comprise Masters in Business Administration in Responsible Banking (IEB, WSBI, LSE), Masters in Business Administration (NUST), BSc Economics Hons, (FBC – Sierra Leone) and NID Computer Studies (Harare Polytechnic College). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers (FIOBZ).

Nomusa Chindomu

Nomusa, is an IT expert, who joined the POSB Board in September 2015. She has a Bachelor of Commerce – Informatics degree as well as a Masters in Business Leadership (MBL). She brings in a wealth of experience spanning over 19 years having worked in the financial services sector in the information technology field in various capacities including at CABS , ZB Bank and Old Mutual.
Nomusa is also currently an Information Technology Projects Consultant & Co- Director at Global Horizons.

Monica Mureriwa

Non Executive Director

Monica is a holder of an Msc. International Marketing (University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK), Bachelor of Business Studies (University of Zimbabwe). She is a former Marketing Head at a number of institutions including Barclays Bank, Coca- Cola Central Africa, Century Holdings and Transactions Payment Solutions.

Currently Monica is the Marketing Director and a Lecturer at the Catholic University of Zimbabwe. She was appointed to the POSB Board in September 2015

Ignatius Mvere

Ignatius Mvere

Non Executive Director

Ignatius is a registered Public Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce (Bcom) degree from the University of South Africa. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and also an associate member of the Institute of Municipal Finance Officers. He is the Director of Finance in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development and has previous experience in Finance, Administration and Auditing having worked in the Treasury department of City of Harare. Ignatius is also a Board member of Zimre Holdings Limited and Fidelity life Assurance of Zimbabwe. He joined the Board of POSB in September 2015.

Onias Jambwa

Holder of an MSc. Degree in Human Resources Development, IPM Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management, IPM Diploma in Training Management, IPM Diploma in Personnel Management, Onias has worked for the RBZ and Universal Merchant Bank. He is currently practicing as a Human Resources Management Consultant. Onias was appointed to the POSB Board in September 2006.

Caecilia Nyamutswa

Caecilia Nyamutswa is a legal practitioner who was admitted to the Zimbabwe bar in 1990. She holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Science in International Relations (MSc-IR), a Bachelor of Law Honours Degree (HBL) and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB), all from the University of Zimbabwe. Currently, she is the Director Legal for the Postal and Telecommunication Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe. She was appointed to the POSB Board in September 2015.

Garainashe is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over twenty years of experience in Banking, Financial management and advisory services. He holds Bachelor of Accounting Science (Hons) and Master in Business Administration degrees from the University of South Africa and National University of Science and Technology respectively. Garainashe is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB).

Dorothy Mapimhidze

Dorothy Mapimhidze

Company Secretary and Legal Adviser

Dorothy is a corporate lawyer by profession and member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe. She holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) degree (UZ) and ACCA Diploma in Financial Management.

She joined POSB as Company Secretary and Legal Adviser in 2012 and heads the Bank’s Corporate and Legal Services Department. Her vast work experience extends to both the public and private sectors where she has held in-house corporate counsel roles with company secretarial responsibilities since 2014. Prior to this, Dorothy briefly worked in a private practice law firm following a lengthy stint in the civil service where she worked in the capacity of public prosecutor/state counsel as well as legal advisor under the Attorney General’s Office.
